Rezumat (EN)
Roopa, a beautiful young village belle is much loved by the villagers of Chandanpur. Chandanpur celebrates a huge Mela every year and this year, they invite a Minister to inaugurate it. In an assassination attempt that follows, a massacre takes place. Chandanpur is devastated and Roopa's family gets wiped out. She vows revenge. Into her life enter two men, the gregarious Kishan and the volatile Shankar, causing much upheaval in their relationship.

“Mela” spune povestea lui Roopa Singh (Twinkle Khanna), o femeie tanara, care afla de la fratele ei, proaspat venit din armata, ca trebuie sa se casatoreasca. Un festival este aranjat in cinstea unui om foarte important, care a venit sa viziteze Chandanpurul, insa petrecerea nu tine mult deoarece un grup terorist ataca orasul. Liderul, Gujjar (Tinnu Verma), este ametit de frumusetea lui Roopa, si decide sa o rapeasca, fratele ei incearca sa o salveze dar este omorat. Roopa il ameninta pe Guj…
