In this documentary, the viewer travels with Rembrandt in a geographical reconstruction of his life. The documentary shows a succession of images from which Rembrandt drew his inspiration. Many of the buildings from Rembrandt's time still exist. Where possible, the current image changes through modern digital techniques in the painting that the artist made more than 400 years ago or in old prints from that time.
În acest documentar, privitorul călătorește cu Rembrandt într-o reconstrucție geografică a vieții sale. Documentarul prezintă o succesiune de imagini din care sa inspirat Rembrandt. Multe dintre clădirile din vremea lui Rembrandt există încă. Acolo unde este posibil, imaginea actuală se schimbă prin tehnici digitale moderne în pictura pe care artistul a realizat-o cu mai bine de 400 de ani în urmă sau în tipărituri vechi de atunci.
