Offshore, shrouded in fog, there is a mysterious island that is said to be the home of a family of monsters. It is strictly forbidden to approach it. But one day a human child, Mushroom, it loses and coming face to face with the mysterious creatures that live there. The arrival of Mushroom, makes panic on the island because the monsters are actually terrified of living humans.
Undeva, pe o insula indepartata, traiesc din timpuri stravechi monstri. Din acest motiv, oamenii au denumit-o „Insula Monstrilor”. In realitate, creaturile de acolo, retrase in salbaticie, sunt inofensive. Intr-o buna zi, un baietel pe nume Kotake se rataceste pe insula. Naki, capcaunul rosu, il gaseste pe micut si il ia in grija sa. Morocanosul Naki nu se intelege bine cu cei de pe insula, singurul sau prieten de pana acum fiind Gunjo, capcaunul albast…
