Inspired by the incredible events surrounding a treacherous attempt to reach the summit of the world's highest mountain, "Everest" documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest of elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.
Inspirat din evenimentele extraordinare petrecute cu ocazia încercării de a ajunge pe vârful celui mai înalt munte din lume, Everest este povestea adevărată a două expediții diferite care i-a forțat pe participanți să-și testeze limitele atunci când au fost surprinși de unul din cele mai cumplite viscole din istoria cunoscută a omenirii. Alpiniștii au avut de înfruntat obstacole la limita imposibilului, iar pasiunea și obsesia lor de o viață – aceea de a cuceri acel vârf – a devenit o luptă contra cronometru pentru supraviețuire.
