Capitol Policeman John Cale has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer. Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation's government falling into chaos and time running out, it's up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
Polițistul John Cale (Channing Tatum) a primit un răspuns negativ la cererea sa de a se angaja în Secret Service, în mult visata echipă ce răspundea de protecția președintelui american, James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Nevrând să o supere cu această veste rea, el o invită pe fiica lui într-o vizită la Casa Albă. Chiar în timpul turului de vizitare, Casa Albă este luată cu asalt de un grup paramilitar înarmat până în dinți. Acum, când guvernul Statelor Unite intră în haos, iar termenul dat de teroriști e pe cale să expire, numai Cale își mai poate salva fiica, președintele și țara.
