A decade has passed in the small town where the original Sandlot gang banded together during the summer of ’62 to play baseball and battle the Beast. Now comes the sequel, a campy romp back to the dugout where nine new kids descend on the diamond only to discover that a descendant of the Beast lives in Mr. Mertle’s backyard--a monster of mythical proportions known as "The Great Fear."

In timpul vacantei de vara, un grup de adolescenti condusi de carismaticul David Durango se pregatesc sa organizeze un supercampionat de baseball, in locul lor preferat de joaca. Insa odata ajunsi acolo, ei descopera cu stupoare ca o gasca de fete, condusa de Hayley Goodfairer si-a stabilit deja cartierul general pe terenul lor. Insa David si Hayley isi dau seama ca uneori, o cearta cumplita e calea cea mai scurta spre dragoste. Dar cand totul parea ca s-a rezolvat o problema mult mai mare apare…
