A brother and sister are torn apart when their parents die tragically in a tornado. While he moves to Seattle to be away from the memory, she devotes her life to studying storms and weather patterns. When she discovers the threat of a powerful series of tornadoes are heading for Seattle, she must convince her brother and the entire city that she is not crazy; and they are in grave danger
April (Mimi Rogers) si Saunders (Robert Moloney) sunt doi frati care se despart cand parintii lor sunt prinsi intr-o tornada si mor. Pentru a uita tragedia prin care a trecut, Sean se muta in Seattle, iar April incepe sa studieze fenomenul furtunilor si al tornadelor. Cand o tornada puternica se indreapta spre Seattle, ea incearca sa isi avertizeze fratele si autoritatile pentru a parasi orasul din fata acestei amenintari.
