The Tang emperor is betrayed by one of his generals, who installs himself as emperor in the East Capital. The son of one of his slave workers escapes to the Shaolin Temple, learns kung fu, and sets out to kill the traitor who killed his father.
Fang Shih-Yu si Hu Hui-Chien sunt doi ucenici Kung Fu ai templului Shaolin care isi propun sa razbune moartea tatilor lor, provocata de gruparea pro-Ching Wu Tang. Intre timp, Dinastia Ching a hotarat sa distruga Templul Shaolin. Dupa ce se razbuna, Fang si Hu se intorc in templu la timp pentru a-i ajuta pe calugari in lupta impotriva soldatilor Ching.
