Marina and her boyfriend have an argument while on a trip in France. While driving with the car among the cliffs, he starts speeding and the car falls into the sea. Marina can jump out of the car, but her boyfriend seems to be drowned. She gets to know his brother and he falls in love with her. But why does she always feel watched? What reasons are behind her strange behaviour anyway? Did she really murder her boyfriend? But is he dead anyway?
Marina (Romy Schneider) si iubitul ei au o cearta in timpul unei calatorii in Franta. In timp ce conduce de-a lungul serpentinelor acesta accelereaza si masina cade in prapastie, in mare. Marina reuseste sa iasa din masina, dar iubitul ei pare sa se fi inecat. Ulterior Marina il cunoaste pe fratele iubitului ei si se indragosteste de el. Dar de ce are impresia ca este mereu urmarita? Ce motive se afla in spatele comportamentului ei straniu? Chiar si-a omorat ea iubitul? Dar este el mort?
