In August 1950, waiting for UN troops to arrive, the South Korean army assembled to protect Nakdong River. Only 71 student-soldiers are left behind to guard the city of Pohang. Now they are on a mission to defend the country from North Korean troops.
“71 Into the Fire” spune povestea – inspirata din fapte reale – a unui grup de 71 de soldati studenti care au luptat eroic pentru a apara o scoala dintr-un mic orasel sud-coreean aflat in calea armatei nord-coreene invadatoare. Pe 25 iunie 1950 izbucneste Razboiul Coreean, prima conflagratie de proportii dupa incheierea celui de-Al Doilea Razboi Mondial. In fata invaziei din Nord, armata sud-coreeana se retrage in continuu timp de 40 de zile, fara a fi in stare sa riposteze. …
