Policeman Edgar Kennedy is told by his chief he better stop a string of burglaries that have been happening on his watch or else he will get the sack. He persuades vagrants Stan and Ollie to rob the chief's house so he can regain his reputation by catching them. The policeman promises to later get the boys off. Things do not go as planned.
Infractionalitatea crescuta din oras face ziarele sa ceara demisia sefului politiei. Acesta-i va cere unuia dintre politisti (Kennedy) sa prinda macar un hot in noaptea care va urma. Cum cel singurul mod posibil de a prinde niste hoti este ca el insusi sa insceneze jaful, politistul isi cauta colaboratori. Acestia vor fi Stan si Bran care dorm in parc si pot fi inchisi din aceasta cauza timp de 90 de zile pentru vagabondaj. Kennedy le promite ca dupa ce-i va aresta va aranja sa fie eliberati. Vr…
