The film tells the story of the genius detective Hu Bayi helping his friend Uncle Ming to go to the South China Sea to salvage pearls. While they were on their way there, they unexpectedly met with a shipwreck, sinking into the sea. However, thanks to this, they accidentally found a sunken ancient ruins of a thousand years. A series of obstacles come at them as they explore the seabed, but through cooperation and trust, they manage to get together and escape the various traps set in this ruin.
Filmul spune povestea geniului detectiv Hu Bayi care l-a ajutat pe prietenul său unchiul Ming să meargă în Marea Chinei de Sud pentru a salva perle. În timp ce se aflau în drum spre acolo, s-au întâlnit pe neașteptate cu o navă naufragiată, scufundată în mare. Cu toate acestea, datorită acestui fapt, au găsit accidental o ruină antică scufundată de o mie de ani. Se condfruntă cu o serie de obstacole în timp ce explorează fundul mării, dar prin cooperare și încredere, reușesc să se unească și să scape de diferitele capcane întinse de această ruină.
