Alexey Titarenko is very talented pilot and brave leader of "Singing group". He also must look after some new cadets and fight together with them against German Luftwaffe planes. Close to Alexey always are his friends, they are all from different parts of the country, but they all became real brothers.
Filmul descrie un scurt episod din viata Escadrilei a doua din Divizia 2 a Armatei Sovietice situata in zona ucraineana. Sub conducerea Tovarasului Comandant Leosa, aceasta mica unitate incearca sa treaca peste ororile si pericolele iminente unui razboi cantand si interpretand cantece la mica lor orchestra-cor improvizata ad-hoc.
