Artem Kolchin este boxer si pretendent la titlul de campion mondial. Managerul sau, Vagith, pariaza multi bani pe rezultatul luptei. In ajunul luptei, medicul Vika afla ca Artem are o problema cu vederea, dar nu spune nimic si il lasa pe acesta sa lupte. In ringul de box, Artem este doborat si isi pierde vederea. O operatie urgenta este necesara, dar Vagith nu vrea sa dea banii necesari interventiei datorita faptului ca Artem a pierdut meciul. Vika se simte vinovata si…
