When the bored out philosopher Maarten Moreau gets caught up in a robbery, he accidentally gets hold of the weapon. Seized by a renewed appetite for life, Maarten decides to keep the gun. A true romance blossoms between the boy and the gun, not without consequences.

Cand Maarten Moreau, un profesor de biologie evolutionista plictisit si trist, se trezeste in mijlocul unui jaf, pune mana din greseala pe arma crimei. Cuprins de un nou apetit pentru viata, Maarten decide sa pastreze arma si astfel infloreste o adevarata poveste de dragoste intre barbat si arma, dar consecintele nu intarzie sa apara.
