BEAUFORT tells the story of LIRAZ LIBERTI, the 22 year-old outpost commander, and his troops in the months before Israel pulled out of Lebanon. This is not a story of war, but of retreat. This is a story with no enemy, only an amorphous entity that drops bombs from the skies while terrified young soldiers must find a way to carry out their mission until their very last minutes on that mountaintop.
Liraz Liberti este un tanar de 22 de ani, comandant de avanpost in timpul razboiului din Liban. Filmul prezinta povestea lui si a detasamentului pe care il conduce in lunile de dinaintea retragerii trupelor israeliene din Liban. Aceasta nu este o poveste de razboi, ci una de retragere din razboi, o poveste in care nu exista doua parti dusmane, ci doar o entitate amorfa care arunca bombe din avion, in timp ce tinerii soldati terifiati trebuie sa gaseasca un mod sa-si duca la bun sfarsit misiunea …
