Megan's world is turned upside down when she hears her calm life with her little brother and single mum is about to change. She hears she's soon to have a stepfather and a stepsister. Megan thinks they're a bit weird and is determined to stop the wedding. She discovers they're actually even stranger than she thought - they're from another planet.
Megan Larson locuieşte împreună cu fratele şi mama lor, divorţată. Viaţa se desfăşoară normal, până în ziua în care Megan afla că mama are un nou prieten, Cosmo Cola, tatăl lui Ariel. Părinţii decid să se căsătorească, dar Megan şi Ariel nu sunt de acord cu această căsătorie, mai ales că nu reuşesc să se împrietenească. Dar pentru că au un scop comun - împiedicarea căsătoriei, ele îşi unesc forţele. Megan nu ştie însă că Ariel şi tatăl lui sunt... extratereştri.
