Julia Alexander, managing a struggling art gallery, wants to save her marriage with Tony, a successful, but unfaithful plastic surgeon. The British ex-pats live luxuriously with their 10 year old daughter Isabelle in Spain. Julia is serious in her intentions and persuades Tony to take an intimate boat trip together - she also ends her affair with her lover Matthew. But her best laid plans backfire as young Isabelle secretly stows away on the yacht and during their voyage they encounter another yacht stranded at sea and decide to investigate.
Julia Alexander, conduce o galerie de artă aflată în dificultate, vrea să-și salveze căsnicia cu Tony, un chirurg plastician de succes, dar infidel. Expatriații britanici locuiesc luxos cu fiica lor Isabelle, în vârstă de 10 ani, în Spania. Julia este serioasă în intențiile ei și îl convinge pe Tony să facă o excursie intimă cu barca împreună - își încheie și aventura cu iubitul ei, Matthew. Dar cele mai bune planuri ale ei se întorc în timp ce tânăra Isabelle se ascunde în secret pe iaht, iar în timpul călătoriei lor, întâlnesc un alt iaht blocat pe mare și decid să-l verifice.
