France, June 1944. On the eve of D-Day, some American paratroopers fall behind enemy lines after their aircraft crashes while on a mission to destroy a radio tower in a small village near the beaches of Normandy. After reaching their target, the surviving paratroopers realise that, in addition to fighting the Nazi troops that patrol the village, they also must fight against something else.
Cu numai câteva ore înainte de Marea Debarcare din Normandia, o trupă de parașutiști americani aterizează în Franța ocupată de naziști cu o misiune crucială pentru succesul invaziei. Însărcinați cu distrugerea unui emițător radio aflat pe o biserică fortificată, soldații își unesc forțele cu o tânără localnică pentru a distruge turnul bisericii. Dar biserica ascunde ceva terifiant în catacombe – un laborator secret nazist, unde soldații americani vor avea de înfruntat inamici cum nimeni nu a văzut vreodată.
