Parents tell the story of two parents who attempt to fill the void in their lives after their child moves out. Left with a feeling of needlessness, they try to rekindle the magic sparks from their younger days, returning to their old student apartment where they first fell in love. When one morning they wake up feeling thirty years younger, they are forced to come to terms with the fact that the past they once knew might no longer exist.

Cand fiul lor, Esben, pleaca in alta tara, cuplul danez de varsta mijlocie Kjeld si Vibeke sunt nehotarati in privinta drumului pe care il vor urma impreuna pe cararea vietii; absenta fiului lor le da un sentiment de inutilitate. In incercarea de a aprinde focul magic din tinerete, se muta in vechiul lor apartament de cand erau studenti si s-au indragostit pentru prima data. Regasirea tineretii ii transforma in mod ciudat si neasteptat. Astfel ca se trezes…
