Contiunuarea trilogiei pt TV "Heimat", de data aceasta pentru marele ecran, l-ar putea duce pe octagenarul Edgar Reitz la Cannes in 2013. Povestea e plasata din nou intr-un sat cu nume fictiv, Schabbach, din regiunea Hunsruck din Rhineland.
