An outlaw murders several Apaches and flees to a stagecoach way station with the tribe in hot pursuit. A stagecoach and its passengers have just pulled into the station, as has the stationmaster's father, a former bandit named Peso, and they all find themselves besieged by the Apaches, who want them to turn over the killer to them or they'll take the station and kill everybody. The problem is that the people in the station aren't sure just who among therm is the actual killer.
Apaşii asediază o staţie de diligenţă după sosirea diligenţei în staţie, deoarece ucigaşul mai multor membri din tribul lor, se refugiase aici. La scurt timp soseşte în staţie şi vestitul bandit mexican Peso Herrera, tatăl lui Tom Herrera, care este şeful staţiei. Primul atac al apaşilor este respins de oamenii din staţie, dar aceştia îi cer lui Tom Herrera să-l predea pe Peso Herrera, fiind convinşi că doar el ar putea fi ucigaşul apaşilor şi astfel ar înceta ostilităţile cu ei, putând să-şi continuie drumul spre San Francisco.
