When a tech blogger lands an interview with a tech guru and stops an attack on him, he finds a mysterious ring that takes him back 57 seconds into the past.
Franklin Fox (Josh Hutcherson), un tânăr blogger pasionat de tehnologie, reușește să obțină un interviu cu Anton Burrell (Morgan Freeman), un guru al tehnologiei. Mai mult decât atât, îi salvează viața când acesta este atacat. În urma acestor evenimente Fox găsește un inel misterios care are capacitatea sa-l ducă pe posesor în trecut cu 57 de secunde.
