When a new friend is brutally assaulted, Detective John Droomor is put by chance in charge of the investigation. Although the evidence against the perpetrators seems overwhelming, there is nothing definitive in the case that guarantees justice is served, even more so if some people are willing to twist and betray it.

John Dromoor este un detectiv care își îneacă amarul în alcool pentru a mai uita de probleme. Devine interesat de cazul unei mame singure, atacate în mod brutal de patru bărbați în fața fiicei sale de 12 ani. În timp ce femeia atacată, Teena, se recuperează în spital, Droomor încearcă să îi găsească pe făptași. Însă, un judecător incompetent și un avocat sunt deciși să îi pună bețe în roate. Droomor ia atitudine și începe o investigație pe cont propriu.
