O garnitură de metrou din New York este deturnată de un grup de bandiți care amenință să omoare toți pasagerii dacă în interval de o oră nu primesc suma de 10 milioane de dolari. Tensiunea sporește pe măsură ce autoritățile se dovedesc incapabile să reacționeze.
