Rezumat (EN)
A Muslim ambassador exiled from his homeland, Ahmad ibn Fadlan finds himself in the company of Vikings. While the behavior of the Norsemen initially offends ibn Fadlan, the more cultured outsider grows to respect the tough, if uncouth, warriors. During their travels together, ibn Fadlan and the Vikings get word of an evil presence closing in, and they must fight the frightening and formidable force, which was previously thought to exist only in legend.

Teama stăpâneşte... Roagă-te să scapi cu viaţă! Un om obişnuit pleacă într-o călătorie extraordinară! Ahmad Ibn Fadlan, un curtean arab, conduce un grup de vikingi în ţinutul barbarilor din Nord. Ibn Fadlan este îngrozit de obiceiurile vikingilor – apetitul sexual nestăvilit, nepăsarea pentru curăţenie, sângele rece de care dădeau dovadă... Apoi descoperă un adevăr înfricoşător: este pe lista celor care trebuie să lupte împotriva terorii ce-i masacra pe vikingi şi le devora cadavrele.
