Two westerners, a priest and a teacher find themselves in the middle of the Rwandan genocide and face a moral dilemna. Do they place themselves in danger and protect the refugees, or escape the country with their lives? Based on a true story.

Bazat pe fapte reale, filmul prezintă povestea unui preot catolic şi a unui profesor de engleză care sunt prinşi în mijlocul genocidului din 1994 din Ruanda. Ei trebuie să aleagă dacă să rămână cu sutele de refugiaţi care vor fi masacraţi sau să fugă într-un loc sigur.
