Scenaristul si regizorul Christopher Zalla este autorul acestui thriller post-noir. Filmul il are in centru pe Juan, un fost criminal de cariera veros, care incearca sa-si lase in urma trecutul si se urca intr-un camion ce transporta imigranti ilegali din Mexico la Los Angeles. De-a lungul calatorei sale, Juan se imprieteneste cu Pedru, un analfabet dulce si nativ din Pueblo, demult instrainat de tatal sau, Diego. Tanarul isi doreste enorm sa-si regasea…
