In New York, former convict Pete Koslow, related to the Polish mafia, must deal with both Klimek the General, his ruthless boss, and the twisted ambitions of two federal agents, as he tries to survive and protect the lives of his loved ones.

Pete Koslow se transformă din soldat în deținut, în urma unui conflict început cu scopul de a-și apăra soția, însă i se oferă șansa de a fi eliberat condiționat, dacă acceptă să lucreze ca informator pentru FBI. Prins între alegeri imposibile, acesta se întoarce în închisoare, unde pune la cale un plan riscant, cu scopul de a scăpa de cele mai puternice organizații ale New York-ului: NYPD, Mafia și FBI.
