A TV talk-show hostess and her boyfriend investigate a shady magician whom has the ability to hypnotize and control the thoughts of people in order to stage gory on-stage illusions using his powers of mind bending.
Un magician face un spectacol unde alege un voluntar de sex feminin si pare a o strapunge cu sabii, burghie prin ea. Din cauza leziunilor femeia care s-a oferit ca voluntar moare. Din cauza neputintei politiei de a rezolva cazul, un barbat a carui prietena a murit in acest fel incepe sa investigheze pe cont propriu cazurile de acest gen in care mai multi oameni au murit de mana magicianului.
