Rezumat (EN)
A hundred and fourteen famous Iranian theater and cinema actresses and a French star: mute spectators at a theatrical representation of Khosrow and Shirin, a Persian poem from the twelfth century, put on stage by Kiarostami. The development of the text -- long a favorite in Persia and the Middle East -- remains invisible to the viewer of the film, the whole story is told by the faces of the women watching the show.

Shirin e pasionanta poveste a unei pasionante iubiri, asa cum e spusa ea de Nezami, un poet iranian din secolul al XII-lea, si de catre Shirin insasi, in fata unui public de peste 100 de actrite, printre care si Juliette Binoche. Publicul acestui inedit experiment cinematografic e deopotriva subiect si obiect, iar rezultatul, departe de a fi comercial, este testul de anduranta suprem al acestei editii TIFF.
