In Los Angeles at the turn of the 1970s, drug-fueled detective Larry "Doc" Sportello investigates the disappearance of an ex-girlfriend.

Rezumat (RO)

Bazat pe un roman de Thomas Pynchon, filmul il are in centrul atentiei pe detectivul particular Doc Sportello (Joaquin Phoenix), care va primi mai mult decat isi doreste atunci cand fosta iubita (Katherine Waterston) il convinge sa porneasca in cautarea actualului ei iubit, mogulul imobiliar Mickey Wolfmann (Eric Roberts). Amenintat de un complot al sotiei lui si al amantului acesteia, Mickey se va dovedi un adevarat blestem pentru viata detectivului, aruncandu-l intr-un imp…
