Exiled from her country since her husband's murder ten years earlier, Judith lives in Marseille with her three children. After having refused to see her family for years, Judith, in spite of her fears and secrets, allows herself to be influenced by her children's wishes and accepts an invitation to their cousin's wedding. Judith si-a parasit tara cu un deceniu in urma, dupa ce sotul ei a fost ucis, si acum traieste in Marsilia cu cei trei copii. A refuzat ani de zile sa-si revada familia, dar iata ca, in ciuda temerilor si a secretelor din trecut, Judith se lansa convinsa de copii sa mearga la nunta unei rude. Cei patru pornesc sa petreaca o vara in tara de bastina, descoperindu-si radacinile si trecutul. Dar revenirea lui Judith reaprinde vechi conflicte intre clanuri rivale...
