Rezumat (EN)
The Man With No Name enters the Mexican village of San Miguel in the midst of a power struggle among the three Rojo brothers and sheriff John Baxter. When a regiment of Mexican soldiers bearing gold intended to pay for new weapons is waylaid by the Rojo brothers, the stranger inserts himself into the middle of the long-simmering battle, selling false information to both sides for his own benefit.

Două clanuri adverse Baxter şi Rojo sunt distruse de un cowboy solitar. Cu acest prim voleu, regizorul Sergio Leone deschide celebra lui serie de "western-spaghetti". La acea dată necunoscut, Clint Eastwood este brusc propulsat la rangul de star. Tema muzicală, compusă de Ennio Morricone, rămâne emblematică pentru acest gen de filme. "Am abordat genul cu multă dragoste, cu multă ironie şi am pus în prim plan grija pentru autenticitate.
